For our SS12 Collection, we asked our friend Mathieu Schreyer to model some of the latest shoes from our line. Mathieu grew up all over the world, but was brought to LA by his love of music He is known to many KCRW listeners as Mr. French, but he also has his own record label, Quieres Chicle, as well as his weekly gig spinning at Bar Marmont. Mathieu constantly seeks a deeper understanding of life through music from all corners of the world, which exemplifies our ethos and inspiration.
Shot at his home in Venice and around LA, the images in the catalogue capture aspects of his life – from a bike ride, working in the studio, a game of ping pong, at the piano – and illustrate a broader vision of what modern life can be.
Like Mathieu’s approach to music, we call upon diverse influences and moments to illustrate our broader vision of modern footwear for everyman. We use premium materials throughout with a subtle, understated charm and our shoes are meant to be worn, becoming more alive with every wear.
