How Good Water Works



Our resources on this earth are finite. One thing we have learned from sci-fi films is that this will soon be a pressing issue, even for the worlds largest resource: water. Fortunately, The Ecology Center in southern California has reopened their How Good Water Works installation, representing our daily water footprint to enlighten and inspire us to become better conservationists. Eames Powers of Ten Video Response Competition


The Office of Charles and Ray Eames created their monumental 1977 film, Powers Of Ten, to try to give an idea of scale in the Universe. As part of their 10/10/10 celebration, The Eames Office has created a competition for users to submit a short film response to POT, no more than 2 minutes long. The deadline is Jan 9, 2011. [More]

As we all look forward to more effcient ways to travel, both environmentally and economically without sacrificing the driving experience, BMW is introducing much needed power into the hybrid market. Here is a peek at the 2010 BMW X6 Activehybrid. We have some mixed feelings on the shape here at the studio, but with the LA Auto Show just around the corner, we wonder who will bring the hybrid technology and design to the next decade and beyond.
