The Office of Charles and Ray Eames created their monumental 1977 film, Powers Of Ten, to try to give an idea of scale in the Universe. As part of their 10/10/10 celebration, The Eames Office has created a competition for users to submit a short film response to POT, no more than 2 minutes long. The deadline is Jan 9, 2011. [More]

We have always been fans of Tibor Kalman and his work at M & Co. His Wife Maira's whimsical take on everyday life is an inspiration, whether through her work with M & Co., her children's books, or her many illustrations for The New Yorker. Her unique voice can be seen through 3 decades of paintings, illustrations, photographs, and more on view now at LA's Skirball Center through February 13, 2011. [More]

American photographer/artist William Eggleston is considered one of the masters of modern color photography. His unique ability to capture the essence, beauty and soul of seemingly ordinary/mundane situations has influenced generations of photographers.
